InterfaceFLOR Debuts In All Lowe's Stores Nationwide This Fall; -High-Style Modular Floorcovering Company Is Named Primary Category Vendor for Lowe's-

July 19, 2004

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 19, 2004--InterfaceFLOR has announced a nationwide partnership and product roll-out with Lowe's. Part of Interface, Inc. (Nasdaq:IFSIA), the world's largest manufacturer of commercial carpet tile, InterfaceFLOR is the first high-style, modular floorcovering created for the residential market.

InterfaceFLOR will begin the roll-out in September 2004, and by early October will be available in every Lowe's store. Lowe's, which has named InterfaceFLOR the primary category vendor, will carry several InterfaceFLOR product lines, colors and textures.

The launch of InterfaceFLOR in 2003 introduced a new floorcovering concept to the residential market. Composed of 19.5 by 19.5-inch moveable tiles, InterfaceFLOR provides the beauty and warmth of an area rug or wall-to-wall carpeting with the performance of a harder surface. With a moveable and changeable format and quick and easy installation, InterfaceFLOR is DIY in more ways than one: do-it-yourself and design-it-yourself.

InterfaceFLOR offers an almost endless array of design options with multiple patterns, inviting colors and contemporary textures. The recent launch of 14 new product lines in Spring 2004 more than doubled the available InterfaceFLOR product colors, textures and design possibilities.

"The InterfaceFLOR partnership with Lowe's leverages our mutual commitment to forward thinking, progressive design," said Greg Colando, President of InterfaceFLOR. "We are thrilled that Lowe's will be the first national retailer to carry InterfaceFLOR, and are looking forward to bringing this new floorcovering solution to even more consumers in 2004."
