Interface Founder and Non-Executive Chairman, Ray Anderson, Discloses Medical Condition

Anderson, the founder and non-executive Chairman of the Company, was recently diagnosed with cancer. He will be undergoing additional tests in the coming weeks to find out more about his condition and course of treatment, and he plans to continue in his role as non-executive Chairman.

Mr. Anderson founded Interface in 1973 and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until his retirement as Chief Executive Officer and transition from day-to-day management in July 2001, at which time he became the Company's non-executive Chairman of the Board.
